- Lifeguards have normally been stationed at the end of the street at the ocean, so no extra walking

What differentiates my rental from the rest and why you might consider it above others:

- I am very transparent with my rental listing. I hope you noticed that I listed the available dates, rates, and location of the home*. (Rates will be posted by October 5 after past guests get first shot at booking - I provide loyalty rewards to my past guests in good standing.) Many rental postings do not! They say it changes too much or is too much trouble.
If I were you, I would not support such a listing and would demand they provide such information. What are they hiding? Also, be wary that many listings say they are in Lavallette when they are not! Just because one of the smaller surrounding towns share Lavallette’s postal code does NOT mean they are in Lavallette. There is a difference. *I monitor my listings and update them when there are any changes.
- Location, location, location with the COMPLETE JERSEY SHORE EXPERIENCE!
Being on the water you see and can do all the water activities available (boating/kayak/swim/crab/fish)
At other homes, well, it’s like being at the place you normally live. Here, you can relax in the backyard and
Feel like you’re at the shore and you can go to the ocean when you want. There are some times you may not
Want to be at the ocean (nasty flies, cold wind, cold water, etc.) These conditions you don’t normally have
In the backyard lagoon.
- My rental rates are very competitive and normally hundreds to thousands of dollars less than similar homes.
- As owner, I personally inspect the home between guests and make sure it is in the same excellent condition similar to that found by the first guest of the season.
- There is an electronic entry code that is changed for each new guest. (Every wonder about keys to your rental floating about from all the previous tenants? Not in my home! Each code is personalized and old codes removed.
- Garbage cans are emptied between guests and taken to the dump.
- BBQ grill grates are exchanged for newly cleaned ones (who else does this?)
- I remove and clean the dock ladder between guest visits
- All mattress pads and pillow covers are washed with unscented detergent & bleach. (Most landlords DO NOT clean mattress pads, yuk!)
- Bed quilts, throw pillows and blankets are exchanged for ones that had been in storage at least a week to minimize possible Covid contamination (I have doubles of most everything).
- I text guests the night before garbage pick-up, just as a reminder.
- Each new guest receives a personalized home manual and sheet listing information about the home, WIFI passwords, etc. I have normally also included menus from the various local restaurants.
- I (as owner) am very accessible and just a call or text away for any questions you might have.

Note: be very careful when renting through the Internet as there are fraudulent scammers out there and I’ve been told my home, along with others, had been featured by one on another website, but there are also some nice people too. It is best to meet in person and see the home when possible. If concerned, when contacting me, I would provide proof of home ownership if desired. I NEVER ask for money to be wired or sent in a nontraceable way. Checks are always made out to my name. Stay safe and healthy!
