The Labor Day weekend is finally here, which means epic savings on a huge range of music gear! There are loads of sales around this weekend, but we wanted to shout out the huge discounts of up to 50% off at Guitar Center. There are some huge savings on big brands, with a huge range of guitars, basses, pedals, live sound gear, audio interfaces, and more.

The sale is only live until September 4th, so you’ve not got long to bag yourself a deal and with some of the prices we’ve seen, we can’t imagine they’ll be around for too long. There are also some Guitar Center exclusive products that you won’t find anywhere else this weekend, so it's well worth a browse to see if you can pick up your favorite gear for less.

Guitar Center Labor Day sale: Up to 50% off
With money off loads of great gear from Fender, Line 6, Yamaha, Schecter, and many more, this weekend is the perfect chance to grab yourself a deal on some fresh additions to your gear collection. With up to 50% off a huge range of guitars, pedals, software, studio monitors, and more, the Guitar Center Labor Day sale is one of the best places you can shop this weekend.

We’ve had a look through the sale already to see what’s available, and we had to shout out the Guitar Center exclusive Fender Player Series Saturday Night Special Stratocaster. Not only is it heavily discounted with a huge $180 reduction, but you won’t find it anywhere else. Featuring a HSS configuration of Seymour Duncan pickups, the comfortable Modern ‘C’ maple neck, plus that gorgeous Daytona Blue finish, it’s a proper powerhouse of a guitar that will cover a lot of sonic ground.

If you’re after a set of budget studio monitors, then it is well worth checking out the Harbinger VARI SM505, which has a nice $50 discount, meaning you can pick up a pair for just shy of $300. They may not be a big-name brand but these monitors are packing some fantastic DSP features, including various profiles that allow you to simulate an Avantone MixCube-type tone, as well as two other modes that are perfect for honing your mix. We love the front-mounted controls and Bluetooth connectivity means you can easily playback reference mixes from your phone.

If you’re after a new audio interface, we highly recommend the Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Duo, which has a tempting $100 discount in the Guitar Center Labor Day sale. The Unison preamp tech allows you to take a more analogue studio-style workflow, putting your EQs, compressors, and other plugins into your workflow before you hit your DAW. As it’s the Heritage Edition it also features a huge $1,300 worth of plugins, including the entire Teletronix compressor plugin collection and a suite of Pultec EQ plugins. It’s a great way to upgrade your home recording rig for a little less this Labor Day weekend.
